Check and Clear Inside the Front Cover

1. Press the release button to open the front cover (A).
2. Carefully remove any visible paper.
3. Grasp the toner cartridge by its handle and pull
upward and out to remove it (B). (Protect the toner
cartridge from any strong light.)
4. Remove any jammed paper (C).
5. Reinstall the toner cartridge and close the front
cover.
note:
After you have located and cleared the jam,
you must open and close the front cover to reset the
printer. If you removed the envelope feeder, you must
reinstall it. Then, if the display changes to
have successfully cleared the jam.
