Steering Stem
Removal
Remove the following parts.
- Front cover ( 4-3)
- Headlight ( 18-2)
- Handle ( 12-3)
- Headlight stay (
- Main switch ( 18-4)
- Front wheel ( 12-5)
- Front fork ( 12-10)
Loosen the 2 headlight stay bolts, and remove the
stay.
Remove the front wiring and coupler.
Remove the steering stem lock nut.
Tools: Lock nut wrench
Extension bar
Remove the top thread nut.
Tools: Steering stem socket
