Section 8 - MIDI Set-Up
The RP-12's MIDI set-up allows you to access and change MIDI
Parameters. This is where you are able to edit your MIDI channels,
turn the Program send on or off, edit the Program send and receive
maps, edit the Device number, assign CC numbers, dump MIDI SysEx
data, and turn MIDI merging on or off. These menus are reached by
pressing the <MIDI> button. The Procedure is as follows:
• (Step 1) Press the <MIDI> button once. The display reads:
¡MIDI Channel:1
™Send Prg: Off ≥
This is the MIDI options menu. From this screen, you are able to
choose the option you want using the Function buttons. The arrow indi-
cates that more options can be found by pressing the <RIGHT> or
<LEFT> Parameter button (depending on the direction of the arrow in
the display). Note that each option is preceded by an inverse number.
These numbers indicate the Function button you should press to reach
each option or sub-menu.
Also, it is important to note that when you are several sub-menus
below the main menu you can press the Program <UP> button to take
you back to the main menu one level at a time, or press the <MIDI>
button to return to the Program.
The MIDI Channel Parameter allows you to select the MIDI channel on
which the RP-12 will respond to MIDI data.
From the MIDI options menu, (
