Section 8 - MIDI Set-Up
the RP-12. If this Parameter is set to DISABL, the selected RP-12
Program Change will send nothing to the external device. Select the
Program Change number that will be sent (1-128, DISABL) using the
<UP/DOWN> Parameter buttons.
The Program Recieve Map function allows you to map incoming MIDI
Program Changes to any Program in the RP-12. From the MIDI
options menu (step 1):
• Press the <RIGHT> Parameter button. The display reads:

• Press Function button <MIX
¡Rcv MIDI Prg
™As RP-12:
The cursor appears under
saying: MIDI Program Change number 1 is currently set to activate
Program number 1 on the RP-12.
• Using the Parameter <UP> Parameter button, set the
¡
RCV MIDI PRG number. Note that as you change this num-
ber, the AS RP-12 number changes with it.
• Press Function button <MIX
The cursor appears under
• Change the number using the <UP> and <DOWN> Parameter
button. When you're finished, press the <MIDI> button to exit
back to the Parameter screen you left.
Any number of Program Changes (up to the MIDI maximum of 128)
can be mapped to recall any number of Programs on the RP-12.
You can create up to 10 continuous controller links that can be linked
to any Parameter in the RP-12. Remember, CCs are active only when
the Program to which they are linked is active. Make sure you have
scrolled to the Parameter you want link before you attempt to link the
CC.
As an example, let's link CC 23 to a Parameter. The procedure is as
follows:
