spark plug insulating material,
corroded electrodes or several
deposits.
Check the electrode gap with a
thickness gauge. This should be
0.7 - 0.8 mm; adjust if necessary
by carefully bending the earth
electrode.
Make sure the washer is in good
conditions. Once the washer is
fitted, manually screw the spark
plug completely to avoid dam-
aging the thread.
Tighten using the wrench sup-

plied in the tool kit, make the
spark plug complete 1/2 a turn
to press the washer.
CAUTION
TIGHTEN THE SPARK PLUG COR-
RECTLY. OTHERWISE, THE ENGINE
MAY OVERHEAT AND GET IRRE-
TRIEVABLE DAMAGED.
USE ONLY THE RECOMMENDED
TYPE OF SPARK PLUG, OTHERWISE,
ENGINE DURATION AND PERFORM-
ANCE COULD BE COMPROMISED.
Blaas goed uit met een lucht-
straal, om te vermijden dat de
verwijderde resten in de motor
terecht komen. Wanneer de
bougie scheuren op de isole-
ring, verroeste elektroden of ex-
cessieve afzettingen vertoont,
moet ze worden vervangen.
Controleer de afstand tussen de
elektroden met een diktemeter.
Deze afstand moet 0,7 − 0,8 mm
bedragen, regel haar eventueel
door de elektrode van de massa
voorzichtig te buigen.
Controleer of de rondel zich in
goede condities bevindt. Met
gemonteerde rondel, draait men
de bougie manueel volledig vast
om te vermijden dat de schroef-
draad wordt beschadigd.
Sluit de bougie met behulp van
de bij de gereedschapskit gele-
verde sleutel, door ze een 1/2
draai vast te draaien om de ron-
del vast te drukken.
LET OP
DE BOUGIE MOET GOED WORDEN
VASTGEDRAAID, OMDAT ANDERS
DE MOTOR KAN OVERVERHITTEN,
EN DUS ERNSTIG WORDT BESCHA-
DIGD.
