If the ambient temperature is low (near or
below 0°C), there may be problems with
the first start-up.
In this case:
Press the starter button «1»
and, at the same time, twist the
throttle grip «2» slightly.
If the engine starts.
Release the throttle grip «2».
If idle speed is not stable, twist
the throttle grip «2» slightly and
frequently.
If the engine does not start.
Wait a few seconds and carry out the cold
start procedure again.
If necessary, remove the spark
plug and check that it is not wet.
If it is wet, clean and dry it.
Before refitting it, press the
starter button «1» and run the
starter motor for about five sec-
onds, without accelerating.

PLACE A CLEAN CLOTH ON THE
CYLINDER NEXT TO THE SPARK
PLUG SEAT TO PROTECT IT FROM
POSSIBLE OIL SPLASHES.

Wanneer de omgevingstemperatuur laag
is (dichtbij of onder het vriespunt), zou de
eerste start moeilijk kunnen verlopen.
In dit geval handelt men als volgt:
Druk op de startknop «1» en
draai tegelijkertijd maar lichtjes
aan het gashandvat «2».
Wanneer de motor niet start.
Laat het gashandvat «2» los.
Wanneer het minimumregime
instabiel is, handelt men op het
gashandvat «2» met kleine en
veelvuldige rotaties.
Wanneer de motor niet start.
Wacht enkele seconden en voer de pro-
cedure van de koude start opnieuw uit.
Verwijder eventueel de bougie,
en controleer of deze niet voch-
tig is.
Wanneer de bougie vochtig is,
moet men ze reinigen en dro-
gen.
Vooraleer men ze opnieuw
monteert, drukt men op de start-
knop «1» en laat met het start-
motortje draaien voor ongeveer
vijf seconden, zonder gas te ge-
ven.

LINDER, NABIJ DE ZIT VAN DE BOU-
GIE, TER BESCHERMING TEGEN
EVENTUELE OLIESPATTEN.
