To access the spark plug:
Park the vehicle on its centre
stand on safe and level ground.
Unscrew and remove the screw
«6».
Unscrew the inspection cover
«7».

For removal and cleaning:
Remove the spark plug tube
«1».
Clean off any trace of dirt from
the spark plug base. Unscrew it
using the wrench supplied in the
tool kit and remove it from its fit-
ting, being careful not to let dust
or any other substance into the
cylinder.

Check that the spark plug elec-
trode and centre porcelain are
free of carbon deposits or signs
of corrosion. If necessary, clean
using suitable spark plug clean-
ers, a wire and/or metal brush.
Blow with a strong air blast to
avoid removed dirt getting into
the engine. Replace the spark
plug if there are cracks on the

Plaats het voertuig op de cen-
trale standaard en op een vlak
en stevig terrein.
Draai de bout «6» los en verwij-
der ze.
Verwijder het inspectiedeksel
«7».

ZORG; KRAS OF BESCHADIG ZE
NIET.
Voor de verwijdering en de reiniging han-
delt men als volgt:
Verwijder de pipet van de bou-
gie «1».
Verwijder al het vuil van de basis
van de bougie, draai haar daar-
na los met de bij de gereed-
schapskit geleverde sleutel, en
verwijder ze uit haar zit, door op
te letten om geen stof of andere
stoffen binnenin de cilinder te la-
ten komen.
Controleer of de elektrode en
het centrale porcelein van de
bougie geen koolstofafzettingen
of corrosietekens heeft, en rei-
nig eventueel met speciale rei-
nigingsmiddelen voor bougies,
met een ijzerdraad en/of met
een metalen borsteltje.
