Unscrew and remove the screw
(4) from the negative lead (-).
Move the negative cable (5) to
the side.
Unscrew and remove the screw
(6) from the positive lead (+).
Move the positive cable (7) to
the side.
Take careful hold of the battery
(8) and remove it from its hous-
ing, lifting it up.

Place the battery (8) on a flat
surface, in a cool and dry place.
Replace the saddle.
WHEN PUTTING THE BATTERY IN
PLACE, TAKE CARE THAT IT IS POSI-
TIONED CORRECTLY AND THAT THE
POLARITY IS NOT INVERTED.
IMPORTANT
WHEN REPLACING, CONNECT THE
CABLE WITH THE POSITIVE LEAD (+)
FIRST, AND THEN THE NEGATIVE (-).
MAKE SURE THAT THE LEADS OF
THE CABLES AND THE BATTERY
TERMINALS ARE:
- IN GOOD CONDITION (NOT COR-
RODED OR COVERED BY DEPOSITS);
Dévisser et enlever la vis (4) de
la borne négative (-).
Déplacer latéralement le câble
négatif (5).
Dévisser et enlever la vis (6) de
la borne positive (+).
Déplacer latéralement le câble
positif (7).
Saisir solidement la batterie (8)
et la retirer de son logement en
la soulevant.
Ranger la batterie (8) sur une
surface horizontale, dans un en-
droit frais et sec.
Repositionner la selle.
LORS DU REMONTAGE DE LA BAT-
TERIE, FAIRE ATTENTION À SON
BON POSITIONNEMENT ET À NE PAS
INVERSER LES POLARITÉS.
ATTENTION
LORS DU REMONTAGE, BRANCHER
D'ABORD UN CÂBLE SUR LA BORNE
POSITIVE (+) ET ENSUITE L'AUTRE
CÂBLE SUR LA BORNE NÉGATIVE (-).
CONTRÔLER QUE LES COSSES DES
CÂBLES ET LES BORNES DE LA BAT-
TERIE SONT :
EN BON ÉTAT (EXEMPTS DE ROUIL-
LE OU DE DÉPÔTS) ;
