Problems Reading Recordable CDs
If you have successfully recorded a CD but have problems
reading it, here are some suggestions:
If the CD can be read on the CD-RW drive but not on a

standard CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive, check CD
Information under the CD menu to make sure that the
session containing the data you just wrote is closed.
CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drives cannot read data from a
session that is open; the session must be closed.
If the CD can be read on your CD-RW drive, but when you

insert the CD in a standard CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive,
the following occurs:

You may have a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive that is not
well calibrated to read recordable CDs. Try reading the CD
in a different CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive.
Try a different brand of CD-R or CD-RW media.

Problems Reading Multi-Session CDs
If you can see only data recorded in the first session on the CD
but not in subsequent sessions, your CD-ROM or DVD-ROM
drive might not support multi-session at all.
