Connecting Your DSL Modem

You must contact your telecommunications service provider and
Internet Service Provider (ISP) to determine the availability of
DSL service in your area. You may be required to have an
external telephone line splitter installed (possibly at an
additional cost) by your telecommunications service provider.
In addition, your home telephone wiring may need to be
inspected by your telecommunications service provider
(possibly at an additional cost) to ensure that your home
telephone wiring configuration will support DSL service.
