EARNING
As technology advances, so does the way we store information.
In the earlier years of personal computers, information could be
stored on diskettes. Now information can be stored on a CD.
Today, because of the limited capacity of diskettes, we seldom
use them to store and carry information. The same circular disc
that replaced phonograph records is now the most common
medium to use for storing and carrying information to and from
personal computers. In fact, the audio CDs we play in our
homes are physically identical to the data CDs we load into our
computers.
