Color samples are displayed. Select a color to be dropped out.

Dropout Image
The dropped out image is displayed.
•
[Color 1], [Color 2], and [Color 3] tabs
Specify color(s) to be dropped out. Up to three colors can be
specified at the same time.

[Dropout] checkbox
Select this checkbox on both the [Color 2] and [Color 3] tabs to
make this option effective when specifying two or more colors to
be dropped out.

[Red]/[Green]/[Blue] fields
Under [Dropout Color], the specified color's values and the sam-
ple color image are displayed.
You can change the color values by directly typing in or by using
the [
] and/or [
] buttons.

Sample color
The color specified to be dropped out is shown here.

[Priority Black] checkbox
Select this checkbox not to drop out text.
This option prevents low-intensity colors such as black, which are
generally used as text, from being dropped out.

Sensitivity
For the color you selected, specify the allowable range of colors to
be dropped out.
Specifiable range: 15 to 180 degrees
The larger the numeric value, the wider the color dropout range is.
•
[File] button
You can display a desired image file (in the format of *.bmp) in the
[Original image] area and select, from here, the color to be
dropped out.
•
[Apply] button
Applies the changes made and closes the dialog box.
•
[Cancel] button
Cancels the changes made and closes the dialog box.

Click the [OK] button.

You are returned to the [TWAIN Driver (32)] dialog box.

In the [TWAIN Driver (32)] dialog box, click the [OK]
button.
