Lamps
Reference: Different colors can be set for a lamp's guide characters when ON and OFF, but
The Auxiliary Area of the CVM1 and CV-series PCs is allocated to system func-
tions, and it cannot be used for purposes other than system use.
The range of each memory area differs according to the PC. Refer to Appendix D
PC Memory Maps on page 435.
When a DM Area or EM Area address is specified, add a bit number (00 to 15) to
the end of the word address.
Display of Lamps
Lamps are displayed as follows according to the status of the allocated bit:
0 (OFF): OFF
1 (ON): ON, or flashing
Whether a lamp lights continuously or flashes when the lamp bit is set to 1
(ON) is determined by the ON Type attribute.
Note that the display when the lamp is ON or flashing also changes accord-
ing to the presence or absence of a frame.
When there is a frame: The frame is always displayed.
When there is no frame: The lamp may be invisible when it is OFF depend-

Guide Character Type
The following 4 types of guide characters can be displayed on the PT.
Type
Fixed character
The same character string is always displayed regardless of

Fixed Character String Settings
The settings are the same as the settings for the fixed display's character
strings except that multiple lines and their alignment (left, center, or right) can
be specified.
