The F10 MARK
II has been designed for normal
illumination
of 140 footcandles (1,400 lux) at F4.0.
({lumination
does
not
mean
the
light
intensity
of
the
light
source,
but
the
brightness
of the scene
where
the object
is
located.
An
illumination
of
140
footcandles
(1,400
lux)
is
standard.

sufficient distance between
the lights and the object
to get uniform illumination.

Maintain as much
brightness as possible behind

Minimize object shadows.

reducing
the contrast

emphasize
a three-dimensional
effect
or
to add
depth,
use
additional spot lights.
Front Light and Back Light
When
using your camera
outdoors,
use it preferably with the sun
behind
you.
Using your camera
with the sun in front of you not
only makes for difficult aperture ring adjustment, but creates a
video
signal with
too
much
contrast
and subdued
colour.
If
possible,
zoom
in on
your
object to fill the screen.
