Colour Adjustment (GAIN R/B)
GAIN
switch to OFF

The
red
and
blue
colours
are
balanced
by adjusting these
control
and
preset
at the
centre
position
which
usually
provides accurate colour reproduction.
GAIN switch to ON position
However,
under
some
conditions
it may
be necessary
to
compensate
by adjusting these controls.
To obtain
the best possible colour, set these controls at the
centre
position
in both
the AWC
and ATW
white balance
mode,
Backup Battery Compartment
The backup
battery
RO3
(AAA
size) is installed into this
compartment
to memorize
the internal
title and also to
function
the date and time continuously
when
the camera
power source is off.
Audio
Level
Selection
Switch
(AUDIO
-20dB/-60dB)
Two
audio
output
levels
for
the
VTR
can
be selected
:
-20dB
or -60dB.
It is factory-set to the -20dB
posjtion.
Stereo Earphone Jack (M3) (EAR)
When the stereo earphone
(not provided) is connected, the
stereo
microphone
sound
of the camera
can be monitored.
When the mono earphone (not provided) is connected, the
CH1
(L) mono
microphone
sound
of the camera
can be
monitored.

This
connector
is for a connection
of an optional
AC
adaptor

Gen-lock

DC Power Selection Switch (DC POWER: EXT, 10P, 14P)
This
switch
selects
the
power
of the
camera
as follows;
EXT:
This
position
is used
for selecting the power
source
either
from
AC
adaptor
WV-PS0O3,
RCU
adaptor WV-AD37E
or Gen-lock
adap-
tor WV-AD36E.
10-Pin VTR Connector (VTR)
Portable VHS VTR shall be connected here.
(Composite signal only)
VTR Compatibility Switch (RUN,
4 /=)
The logic level of the camera
trigger may be incompatible
and
reversed,
so that the
VTR
pauses when
it should
run
and vice versa.
In this case, set the switch position to other
side.
When
this camera
is connected
with
Panasonic
portable
VTRs, set the switch to # position.
When this camera
is connected to a VHS portable VTR
of
another
manufacturer, set the switch to © position,
Note:
Set the VTR Compatibility Switch (RUN 4/2)
on
the
camera
to the
#
position
when
using the
RCU, 3/4" VTR or S-VHS VTR.
S-VIDEO OUT
S-VHS signals (Y/C) are fed from this connector.
14-pin VTR Connector (14P)
A portable
VTR
which
has 14-pin camera connector shall
be connected
here.
The output video signal is set to either composite or Y/C
signal by 14P Output Signal Selector (11).
