WHITE BALANCE SETTING
1. White Balance
The nature
of the light is called colour temperature
and it is
measured
by unit
Kelvin
(°K).
The higher colour tempera-
ture is considered bluish and the lower colour temperature is
considered reddish.
When the camera is aimed at an object illuminated by a light
of
high colour
temperature,
it reproduces
a bluish
picture.
When
the
camera
is pointed
at an
object
illuminated
by a
light
of
low
colour
temperature,
it reproduces
a reddish
picture.
To
produce
the
accurate
colour
reproduction,
the
white
balance of the camera should be set before shooting.
