2. Auto Tracing White-balance (ATW) operation
o
Set the White Balance Selection Switch
(5) on the camera to
the ATW position.
The
white
balance
is automatically
set
by
detecting the
characteristic/colour
temperature
of light with
the front
mounted ATW sensor.
Colour
temperature
range
in which
the
ATW
operation
is
possible : Approximately 2600° K - 6500°K
In the
ATW
operation,
if the
camera
is used
beyond
this
range, use the automatic white balance (AWC) setting.

It is recommended
to use ATW
position if the quick setting
up is required and the colour temperature of light would vary
frequently during shooting.

When
the
scene
has
strong
coloured
illumination,
for
example during sunrise and sunset, blue sky, green fields
etc.
When
some
other light source which is outside the sensing
range of the ATW.
When
there
is some
object
placed
in front
of the ATW
sensor that interferes light reaching to the sensor.
When shooting in the macro range of the lens.
3. Automatic White Balance Setting
o
The accurate
white balance for two different light sources
such
as indoor
and
outdoor
can
be set automatically
in the
automatic
white
balance
setting
(AWC)
mode
as follows.
Colour
temperature
range
in which
the AWC
operation
is
possible : Approximately 2500°K - 7800°K
o
When
the camera
remote
controller
is Connected
to the
camera, the AWC setting from the camera can not be adjusted.
o
Set the White Balance Selection Switch
(5) on the camera to
the AWC
position.
