Fold up the cap of socket 1.

Insert the plug of the device.

or secured in the deployment area of an air
bag when you use the socket. Also observe
the notes on the air bags (

Using USB ports
Depending on its equipment, the vehicle has the
following USB ports:
In the stowage compartment in the front cen-
R
ter console
In the stowage compartment under the front
R
armrest
In the rear center console
R
You can charge a USB device, such as a mobile
phone, at the USB ports using a suitable charging
cable. Depending on the vehicle equipment, the
devices can be charged with up to 20 V (5 A)
when the vehicle is switched on.

& WARNING Risk of injury due to objects
being stowed incorrectly
If objects in the vehicle interior are stowed
incorrectly, they can slide or be thrown around
and hit vehicle occupants. In addition, cup
holders, open stowage spaces and mobile
phone receptacles cannot always retain all
objects within.
There is a risk of injury, particularly in the
event of sudden braking or a sudden change
in direction.
Always stow objects so that they cannot

be thrown around in such situations.
Always make sure that objects do not

protrude from stowage spaces, parcel
nets or stowage nets.
Close the lockable stowage spaces
#
before starting a journey.

Always stow and secure heavy, hard,

pointed, sharp-edged, fragile or bulky
objects in the trunk/cargo compart-
ment.
Observe the notes on loading the vehicle.

storage compartment could constitute a fire
hazard.
Apart from a mobile phone, do not place

any other objects in the mobile phone
storage compartment, especially those
made of metal.

If objects are placed in the mobile phone stor-
age compartment, these may be damaged by
electromagnetic fields.
