Floating Mode

You can decrease layer slippage and wrinkles by lifting
the presser foot slightly in the floating mode.
1. Press the floating mode key.

NOTE:
Patterns not suitable for floating mode are grayed out.
2. Press the setting bar to expand the manual setting
window.

3. Press "+" or "–" to adjust the presser foot height.

Press "+" to increase the presser foot height.
Press "–" to decrease the presser foot height.
NOTE:
• When using the floating mode, always adjust the
presser foot height and conduct a test sew on an
extra piece of the fabric before actual sewing.
• Using the dual feed foot is recommended to
decrease layer slippage when the floating mode
does not work.
