Your camcorder is supplied with a lithium battery installed. When tile battery becomes
weak or dead, the ,-% indicator flashes in tile viewfinder for about 5 seconds when you
set the POWER switch to CAMERA. In this case, replace the battery with a Sony
0R2025 or Duracell DL-2025 lithium battery, Useof any other battery may present
a risk of fire or explosion. Disrard used batteries arrording to tbe manufhrturer's
instructions.
The lithium battery for the camcorder lasts for about 1year under normal operation.
(The lithium battery that comes installed at the factory may not last 1 year.)
Notes on lithium battery
• Keep the lithium battery out of the reach of children,
Should the battery be swallowed,
immediately
consult a doctor.
• Wipe the battery
with a dry rlotb to asstu e a good rontart.
• Do not hoM the battery
with metallic
tweezers,
otherwise
a short circuit may occur.
• Note that the litbium
battery
has a positive
(+) and a negative

as

Be sure to install the lithium battery so that terminals
on the battery
match the terminals
on the camcorder,
