When setting an original on the Original Glass

Set the original onto the Original Glass.
% For details on how to set the original, refer to [User's Guide Copy].

Connect a USB memory to this machine.
The [DEVICE IS CONNECTED] screen appears.

Use the +/, key to select [SCAN TO USB], then press the OK key.
The machine mode changes to scan mode and [TO: Scan To USB Memory] is displayed.
% By pressing the , key, file format, and compression coding method can be set. For details, refer to
page 8-7.

Press the Start key.

Use the +/, key to select [AUTO DETECTION] or [MANUAL].
% If [AUTO DETECTION] is selected, press the OK key and go to Step 8.
% If [MANUAL] is selected, scanning size can be selected. Press the ) key and go to Step 6.

Use the +/, key to select desired scanning size, then press the OK key.
% By pressing [INCH] or [METRIC], the scanning size unit can be changed.
