Select the destination from the address book

Address book displays the contents registered to the One-touch Dial and the Speed dial. Using this function,
destinations can be searched from the address book and specified for transmission.

Press the Scan key.
The machine switches to the scan mode.

Press the AddressBook key.

Use the +/, key to select either [LIST] or [SEARCH], then press the OK key.
% Specifying [LIST] displays the registered contents of One-touch Dial and Speed dial. Use the +/,
key to select the destination.
% Selecting [SEARCH] displays a screen used to enter the retrieval character string. Enter part (or all)
of the registered name of the destination for search. For steps on searching Address book, refer to
page 6-10.

Press the Start key.
Sending starts.

How to search Address Book

Press the Scan key.
% The machine switches to the scan mode.

Press the AddressBook key.

Use the +/, key to select [SEARCH], then press the OK key.

Enter a certain number of leading characters of the registered name of the destination.
% Enter part of the registered name to One-touch Dial or Speed dial.
% You can enter up to 10 characters.

Press the OK key.
Displays the search results.
% If the machine fails to find the corresponding registered name after a search is carried out, the
screen returns to the screen shown in Step 4.

Select the destination, then press the OK key.
The destination name appears on the Scan screen.
% When the destination name is entered, [OTHER SETTING=,] is displayed. Pressing the , key, the
file format, etc. can be changed. For details, refer to page 6-7.

Press the Start key.
