Heat Dispersion
In order
to avoid heat build up,
the unit
is equipped
with a heat dispersion
fan for forced air
cooling.
The air current
caused
by the fan travels
from
the left
to the right,
so be sure
to
allow enough space on either side for proper
circulation
(not less
than 50 mm).

Environmental Temperature
Do not expose
this unit
to excessive
heat.
Operating
temperature
range
is between
0 and 40'
centigrade (32° and 95° F).
Remote Control
Unit Connection
Power
to the remote control
unit is supplied
from
the main unit.
Do not disconnect
the connec-
tor while
the power of the main unit
is on.
Stay for Circuit Boards During Transportation
After unpacking
the unit,
remove
the stay which
is inside
the main unit and holds
its 4 circuit
boards.
This stay prevents
the circuit
boards
from coming out accidentally
during
transporta-
tion and it must be removed
before mounting on the rack or it will not be possible
to remove
the
circuit
boards
later.
Removal:
Remove
the two screws
on the front panel,
and pull down
the front panel
towards
you.
Next,
remove
the four screws
holding
the top and bottom covers;
these covers
hold
the
stay.
External
Cleaning
Do not clean
the unit with such volatile
substances
as benzine or paint
thinner.
Remove dirt
and dust with a dry,
soft cloth.
Internal
cleaning should be left to a qualified
technician.
