Update by connecting your PC and RICOH Ri 1000X with Ethernet cable
IMPORTANT! Do not disconnect any cable (Communication, Power, and so on) during updating.
Make sure that update firmware is the latest one published on the web.
Do not downgrade, downgrade is not granted.
When update by this method, it is necessary to disable DHCP setting of the IP address.
For details see page 43, "The setting of IP address for the machine".
Double-click "Ri-1000X Updater.exe".
Key-in the printer IP address to update.
Select Firmware Set.
Click [Update] to send new firmware.
Please update in order of Panel (GIB), Sub Control (SCB) and Engine (CTL).
Note - You should always update Panel (GIB) first.
Make sure that "Ready" is displayed in panel each update, then update next firmware.
Sending firmware done and then start to update.
The following steps are as same as steps of "Update by using USB drive".
Note - Sub Control (SCB) and Engine (CTL) do not start update automatically by this method.
You should update in order of Panel (GIB), Sub Control (SCB) and Engine (CTL) manually.
Therefore, Click [Update] in the above order.
These completes all updates.
