3. Tighten the screw (1).

(1) - Latch
The switches on the cylinder are actuated by the magnet core on the pis-
ton rod when the sewing head is lifted or lowered. The latch (1) is used to
lock the sewing head in its upper position when the pneumatic system is
depressurized, e.g. after pushing the button O or after switching off the
machine.
