contact anything except the correct
battery or jumper terminals or the
correct ground. Do not lean over the
battery when making connections.
WARNING
Do not connect the jumper cable to the
negative (-) jumper terminal of the
discharged battery. A spark could
cause the battery to explode and lead
to a personal injury or vehicle damage.
9.Start the engine of the assisting vehicle
and let it run at approximately 2,000
RPM for a few minutes. Then start your
vehicle.
10.Keep your vehicle operating for at least
30 minutes at idle or driving to make
sure your battery receives enough
charge to be able to start on its own
after the vehicle is shut off. A
completely discharged battery may
require as long as 60 minutes runtime
to fully recharge. If the vehicle is run for
less, the vehicle may not restart.
If your vehicle does not start after a few
attempts, it probably requires service.
Have your vehicle inspected by an
authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
