Driving your vehicle
WARNING
• Never turn the ignition switch to the
LOCK or ACC position while the vehicle
is moving except in an emergency. This
may result in the engine turning off and
loss of power assist for the steering and
brake systems. This may cause loss of
directional control and braking
function, which could cause a collision.
• Before leaving the driver's seat, always
make sure the shift lever is in the P
(Park) position, apply the parking brake,
turn the ignition switch to the LOCK
position, and take the keys with you to
prevent unintended vehicle movement.
NOTICE
Never use aftermarket keyhole covers.
These covers may prevent the vehicle
from recognizing the key and not allow
the vehicle to start.
