3. Release the accelerator pedal.
Vehicle speed maintains the set speed
even when the accelerator pedal is not
depressed.
Information
The vehicle speed may slow down or
speed up while driving uphill or downhill.
Increasing set speed

• Push the + switch up and release it
immediately to increase the cruising
speed by 1 mph (1 km/h).
• Push and hold the + switch up to
increase to the nearest multiple of 5
mph (or multiple of 10 km/h) at first,
and then increase by an additional 5
mph (10 km/h) each time.

Accelerating temporarily
If you want to accelerate temporarily
when Cruise Control is on, depress the
accelerator pedal.
To return to the set speed, take your foot
off the accelerator pedal.
If you push the + switch up or - switch
down at a higher speed, the cruising
speed is set to the higher speed.
Decreasing set speed

• Push the - switch down and release it
immediately to decrease the cruising
speed by 1 mph (1 km/h).
• Push and hold the - switch down to
decrease to the nearest multiple of 5
mph (or multiple of 10 km/h) at first,
and then decrease by 5 mph (10 km/h)
each time

If you need to slow down quickly to avoid
a collision, depress the brake pedal as
needed.
