WARNING
Always safely steer your vehicle and
maintain the position of your vehicle in its
lane.
To prevent serious injury or death:
• Always have your hands on the steering
wheel while driving.
• Lane Following Assist may not steer if
the steering wheel is held too tightly, or
the steering wheel is turned too far left
or right.
• If the steering wheel is held very
loosely, the hands-off warning
message may appear because the Lane
Following Assist may not recognize that
you have your hands on the steering
wheel.
• The hands-off warning message may
appear late or not at all depending on
the road condition.
• If you attach objects to the steering
wheel, the hands-off warning may not
work properly.
Information
• The status of the Lane Following Assist
operation appears in Driving Assist
mode on the instrument cluster. Refer
to the "View modes" section in chapter
4.
• When lane markings are detected, the
lane lines on the instrument cluster
change from gray to white.
