Programmable functions
 Memory
The washing machine will save the
last settings (temperature, spin speed,
and some of the extra options) se-
lected for a wash program after the
program has started.
When the program is chosen again, the
saved settings will appear on the dis-
play.
Options
 = Memory is switched off (fac-
tory setting)
 = Memory is switched on
 Water intake
You can program 2 options for the wa-
ter intake. The water intake is con-
trolled by the two intake hoses.
Options
 = Cold water
The washing machine will be
operated with cold water only.
 = Hot water (factory setting)
Hot water is used in the main
wash.

Risk of damage from incorrect
water connection.
Connection to a hot water supply
only is not permitted. When being
operated with hot water, the washing
machine always requires a cold wa-
ter connection as well in order to
control the temperature of the water
used for washing the laundry.
The washing machine must always
be connected to cold water.
 Gentle action
When Gentle action is activated, drum
rotation is reduced. In this way, lightly
soiled items can be washed more gen-
tly.
Gentle action can be activated for the
Normal and Wrinkle-free programs.
Options
 = Gentle action is switched off
(factory setting)
 = Gentle action is switched on
