ROM VER. INQ (72H)
(Effective only in one-to-one communication with the
specified device)
Acquires the version data of the software that is
controlling SSP of the recorder.

MENU UPLOAD (D8H)
(Effective only in one-to-one communication with the
specified device)
Uploads menu data encoded on the recorder.
• With RS-232C, all the menu values can be uploaded.
• With RS-485, only the NORMAL REC MODE SET
and RECORDING CONDITIONS SET values can be
uploaded.

The device that receives D8H will stop the sequential
transmission if it does not receives the next D8H
within 1 second after sending 40H, and will send the
data from the first data block when it receives D8H
next.

(Effective only in broadcast transmission)
Downloads encoded menu data.
• With RS-232C, all the menu values can be
downloaded.

The device that issues E8H will continuously send the
data up to 40H without waiting until the bus opens,
and will issue the next E8H when it confirms that the
bus is open.
The device that received E8H will clear the received
data if it does not receive the next E8H within 1
second after it receives 40H, and when it receives E8H
next, it will recognize the next data block as the first
data block.
CLOCK DOWNLOAD (E9H)
(Effective only in broadcast transmission)
Downloads data specified by subcommands s1, s2, and
s3.
If s1, s2, s3 = 30H, 30H, 30H, the date (year/month/
day) will be downloaded.
If s1, s2, s3 = 30H, 30H, 31H, the time will be
downloaded.

Special Code

ERROR (02H)
• Indicates that the recorder has entered the error status
as an invalid data item was sent while the time and
date values for T/D SEARCH 4 were being entered.
• Indicates that the recorder has received invalid data
for GROUP SET (6CH) or GROUP CLEAR (6DH)
via the RS-485.
