Loading the menu settings
You can restore the previous menu status by loading
the values stored in a memory stick.
Only the RECORDING AREA SET values (
) must be separately determined whether to

load, as the hard disk(s) will be initialized if you load
these values.

Insert the memory stick in which the settings are
stored into the PC card adaptor set in the PC card
slot of this unit.

Press the MENU button to display MAIN MENU 1
on the monitor screen.

Hold the SHUTTLE HOLD button pressed (for
more than 3 seconds) until the COPY MENU
SETTINGS display appears on the screen.

To load the RECORDING AREA SET values
along with other settings:
Turn the Jog dial to highlight COPY
(1)
RECORDING AREA SETTINGS, and turn the
Shuttle dial clockwise.
(2) Select YES with the Jog dial, and turn the
Shuttle dial clockwise to execute.
Note
All picture data will be lost if COPY
RECORDING AREA SETTINGS is performed.

Turn the Jog dial to highlight LOAD MENUS
FROM PC CARD, and turn the Shuttle dial
clockwise.
A confirmation message is displayed.
When you set COPY RECORDING AREA
SETTINGS to YES in step 4, a warning message is
displayed.

Turn the Jog dial to choose YES, and turn the
Shuttle dial clockwise.
Loading begins.
The progress status is displayed during loading.
When loading is completed, a completion message
is displayed.
To cancel loading before beginnig the
operation
Turn the Shuttle dial counterclockwise.
Loading once started cannot be stopped.
