Remove the handlebar 1 and ignition switch 2.
Remove the steering stem head nut.
Remove the washer 3 and steering stem upper bracket 4.
Remove the steering stem nut using the special tools.
09940-14911: Steering nut socket wrench
09940-14960: Steering nut wrench socket
Remove the steering stem lower bracket.
NOTE:
Hold the steering stem lower bracket to prevent it from falling.
Remove the steering stem upper bearing.
