Troubleshooting
Interlock Self Test Procedure continued
Press the 'FOLD' button to go to the next test. "P4: - -" is displayed on the
LCD screen.
Remove the medium/high speed outlets cover. "P4: 0" is displayed on the
LCD screen.
Replace the medium/high speed outlets cover. "P4: 1" is displayed on the
LCD screen.
Press the 'FOLD' button to go to the next test. "P5: 0" is displayed on the

LCD screen.
Turn the temperature control knob to 100°C precisely. "P5: 1" is displayed
on the LCD screen if the temperature is within the accepted tolerance
Press the 'FOLD' button to end the test. "PASS" is displayed on the LCD
screen.
Power down the machine.
* US Models have slightly different firmware, from Stage 5 onwards the procedure is as
below.
Press the 'FOLD' button to go to the next test. "P5: C" or "P5: F" is
displayed on the LCD screen, depending on which temperature
measurement unit is selected: °C or °F.
Press the 'TEMP/TIME' button to change from °C to °F, if necessary.
Press the 'FOLD' button to go to the next test. "P6: 0" is displayed on the
LCD screen.
Turn the temperature control knob to 230°F. "P6: 1" is displayed on the
LCD screen if the temperature is within the accepted tolerance (± 20°F).
Press the 'FOLD' button to end the test. "PASS" is displayed on the LCD
screen.
Power down the machine.
