7.43 Replacing the carburettor's heating
element and thermostat
1. Remove the cylinder cover and air filter. Loosen
the thermostat cable from the air filter holder as
well as from the cabling in the front handle.
Loosen the two screws holding the thermostat's
attachment bar and remove the thermostat.See
Figure 15.
2. Loosen the pressure hose A, the return hose B.
See Figure 16.
3. Loosen screws F and unhook the rubber
mounting G on both sides of the air filter holder.
See Figure 17.
4. Loosen the cable to the carburettor's heating
element. See Figure 18.
