Remove the small parts from the knockout in the right side plate.

Route and install RJ-45 Controller Area Network (CAN) cables between the UPS cabinets. See Figure 4-6 , and
Figure 4-10 for wiring information.

Route and install pull chain wiring (17-20AWG Twisted Wires) between the UPS cabinets and cabinet
MOBs. See Figure 4-6 and Figure 4-10 for wiring information.

If wiring Mini-Slot connections, proceed to paragraph 4.5.3;
4.5.3 Installing Mini-Slot Interface Connections
AN drop for connection to UPS communications card is to be supplied by customer.
For installation and setup of an Mini-Slot card, contact an Eaton service representative (see paragraph 1.8)
To install wiring:
1.
If not already installed, install the LAN drop.
2.
Route and install the LAN and other cables to the appropriate Mini-Slot cards. See Figure 4-6 and Figure 4-7 for
Mini-Slot communication bay locations.
3.
Refer to the manual supplied with the Mini-Slot card for operator instructions.
