Applying the solid-state drive thermal pad
About this task
The following image indicates the re-usable solid-state drive thermal pad.
Steps
NOTE:
While replacing the system board, if a thermal pad is present in the solid-state drive slot, peel and transfer the re-useable
thermal pad to the new replacement system board.
1. Remove the solid-state drive holder from the system board if required.
2. Align the connector edge and paste the thermal pad mylar sticker.
3. Peel the release paper.
