IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Standard, Title 24 CFR, Part 3280 [formerly the Federal
Standard for Mobile Home Construction and Safety,
Title 24, HUD {Part 280}] or with local codes where
applicable.
The installation of appliances designed for Recreational

Park Trailers must conform with state or other codes or,
in the absence of such codes, with the ANSI A119.5
Park Model Recreational Vehicle Standard.
In the absence of local codes the appliance should be
¡
installed in accordance with the National Electrical
Code NFPA 70 current issue and National Gas Code
NFPA 54/ ANSI Z223.1 – current issue. In Canada,
installation must be in accordance with the Canadian
Electrical Code, CSA C22.1-02 and the latest editions
of the CSA B149.1 Natural Gas and Propane
Installation Code and the CSA B149.2 Propane Storage
and Handling Code and/or local codes.
It is the responsibility of the owner and the installer to
determine if additional requirements and/or standards
apply to specific installations.
1.7 Ventilation recommendations
We strongly recommend the installation of a ventilation
hood above this appliance.
The hood must be installed according to instructions
furnished with the hood.
WARNING
The appliance should not be installed with a ventilation
system that blows air downward toward the burners. This
type of ventilation system may cause ignition and
combustion problems with the gas cooking appliance
resulting in personal injury or unintended operation.
1.8 REAR CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
To avoid staining on the back wall, high temperature, non-
porous construction materials suitable for use in a cooking
environment are recommended.
IMPORTANT: There is a possibility to discolor the back
wall under certain cooking conditions.

When installing against a combustible surface, a

clearance to the combustible surface. A Thermador low
backguard must be purchased separately.
A rear clearance to a surface covered in a non-

combustible material (metal, ceramic tile, brick, marble,
or stone)*
