1.2.1.1 Usage of ERX350 in Hazardous Areas

You can use ERX350 in hazardous areas, under some permitted operating conditions. Ensure to comply
with the applicable laws and regulations, and company policies for the usage of ERX350.
Installation and commission of ERX350 in hazardous areas must only be done by specially trained and
qualified staff. The device is designed in accordance with the IP 65 degree of protection as per EN60529.
The installation of the intrinsically safe circuits must comply with the applicable local laws or
regulations. Operate ERX350 only if the instrument is completely intact.
