Most data areas in the CPM2B-S can be accessed as bits or words. (The TR
area can be accessed by bit address only and the DM area can be accessed
by word address only.)

(8 bits) ON/OFF status at program branches.
HR 0000 to HR 1915 These bits store data and retain their ON/
(320 bits) OFF status when power is turned OFF, or
operation starts or stops. They are used in
the same way as work bits.
AR 0000 to AR 2315 These bits serve specific functions such as
(384 bits) flags and control bits.
LR 0000 to LR 1515 Used for a 1:1 PC Link with another PC.

Timers and counters use the TIM, TIMH(15),
CNT, CNTR(12), TMHH(– –), and TIML(– –)
instructions. The same numbers are used for
both timers and counters.
