2. Panel Light Switch — Turns the panel light ON/OFF.
Make sure the Panel Light switch is in the OFF position
when the light is not needed.
3. Panel Light — Illuminates the control panel for
operation at night or in dark areas.
4. Frequency Meter — Indicates the output frequency
in hertz (Hz). Normally 60 Hz.
5. AC Ammeter — Indicates the amount of current the
load is drawing from the generator per leg selected by
the ammeter change-over switch.
6. AC Voltmeter — Indicates the phase-to-phase voltage
present at the output terminals.
7. Fuel Leak Detected Alarm Lamp — Indicates that
fluids have accumulated in the containment tank and
the fuel tank must be repaired or replaced.
8. Warning (Diagnostic) Lamp — Turns on when
an engine fault/failure has occured. Refer to the
Troubleshooting (Diagnostics) section in this manual
for more information.
9. Hour Meter — Indicates the operational hours of the
generator.
10. Pre-Heat Lamp — When the Auto Start/Stop switch is
placed in the Manual position, this lamp will illuminate to
indicate pre-heating of the engine glow plugs. When the
lamp turns off, the pre-heat cycle is complete and the
engine can be started.
11. Auto Start/Stop Switch — Use this switch to start
and stop the engine. The engine will start immediately
when the switch is set to the Manual position. For
remote starting, set the switch to the Auto position.
Place the switch in the center Off/Reset position to
stop the engine.
12. Engine Speed Switch — Controls engine speed. Low
speed (idling) = 1,000 rpm. High speed (60 Hz rated
speed) = 1,800 rpm.
Run the engine at idling (low) speed only for warmup
and cool-down. Running the engine at idling speed
for an extended period of time could lead to a DOC
clogging problem, as the exhaust temperature is not
adequate for the automatic cleaning process.

CONTROL AND OPERATION PANEL
After running the engine at idling speed for approximately
15 minutes, place the Engine Speed switch in the High
position to switch to rated speed, or place the Auto
Start/Stop switch in the Off/Reset position to shut down
the engine.
13. Voltage Regulator Control Knob — Allows manual
fine adjustment of the generator's output voltage.
14. Ammeter Change-Over Switch — Allows the AC
ammeter to indicate the current flowing to the load
connected to any phase of the output terminals, or to be
switched off. This switch does not affect the generator
output in any fashion, it is for current reading only.
15. Voltmeter Change-Over Switch — Allows the AC
voltmeter to indicate phase-to-phase voltage between
any two phases of the output terminals, or to be
switched off.
16. Main Circuit Breaker — This 3-phase, 60-amp main
circuit breaker connects or disconnects the generator
output to or from the output terminals, and protects the
unit from short circuits or overcurrent.
