In the dialog box that appears, click Select PPD.
The Adobe PostScript printer driver automatically selects the
KX-P8420 printer description file for your printer.

Click Select, and then click OK.

Close the Chooser.
The Adobe PostScript 8.5.1 driver can convert RGB colors of a file to a
specified CMYK device target using ColorSync Color Management. The
KX-P8420 Driver & Utility CD-ROM includes a ColorSync profile for the
KX-P8420. This profile is optimal for color conversions for the KX-P8420
printer.
The KX-P8420 ColorSync profile (KX-P8420 Color Printer ICC) and monitor
profile (EFIRGB ICC) can be found in the ColorSync 2.0 directory. To install
this file drag a copy to the System Folder/Preferences/ColorSync Profiles
folder.
NOTES:
•
Printer profiles selected with ColorSync affect ColorSync compliant
applications only.
•
ColorSync version must be 2.01 or greater.
