Click t he applicat ion int o w hich you w ant t o import dat a.
If you are import ing records t hat cont ain a f ield w it h
cat egory names, select All in t he Cat egory box.
Be sure that the same categories that appear in the imported file also exist
in the application. If the categories do not exist, create them now;
otherwise, the records will be imported into the Unfiled category.
Click Import f rom t he File menu.
The Import dialog box is displayed.
Select t he f ile you w ant t o import .
Click Open.
To import dat a int o t he correct Palm Deskt op f or CLIÉ f ields,
drag t he f ields in t he lef t -hand column so t hat t hey parallel
t o t he corresponding import ed f ields on t he right .
Clear t he check box f or t he f ield t hat you do not w ant t o
import .
Click OK.
The imported data is highlighted in the application.
To add t he import ed dat a t o your CLIÉ handheld, perf orm a
Hot Sync operat ion.
