Advanced Hot Sync
To select the conduits for a modem HotSync operation
The Conduit Setup dialog box on your CLIÉ handheld enables you to define
which files and/or applications synchronize during a modem HotSync
operation. You can use these settings to minimize the time required to
synchronize your data when using a modem.
To change the Conduit Setup for a modem HotSync operation:

Rot at e t he Jog Dial navigat or t o select Hot Sync and press t he
Jog Dial navigat or. Or t ap t he Hot Sync
Applicat ion Launcher screen.
The HotSync screen appears.

Tap t he M enu

Tap Opt ions, and t ap Conduit Set up.
The Conduit Setup screen is displayed.

Tap t he check boxes t o clear t he select ion of t he f iles and
applicat ions t hat you do not w ant t o synchronize during a
modem Hot Sync operat ion.
The default setting is to synchronize all files.

Tap OK.
