Driver Configuration Troubleshooting

Do the following if the LEDs on the BayStack 650/660 PC Card indicate that it is
working, but cannot connect with an access point (green LED on the access point
blinks rapidly). Or if the PC card cannot connect with an identically configured
laptop while in the ad hoc mode.
From the Windows taskbar, choose Start > Programs > Bay Networks >

Network Select.
Confirm that you have a common SSID with the BayStack 650/

BayStack 660 Access Point or peer laptop.
Check to make sure that the correct mode is being used:

Make sure that you are within range of the access point or peer that you

are trying to connect to.
Make sure that the other device (access point or peer) is on and active.

Check to see if WEP is being used. To do so:

> BayStack 650 - BayStack 660 Windows Utilities > WEP Setup.
If so, make sure that the WEP settings are common for all devices,
including:
Encrypt Authentication Sequence is the same on all devices.
Encrypt Data Packets is the same on all devices.
All devices have the same Keys and the correct Key is active.
