Description
Select the DS (Direct Sequence) preferred channel (only applicable for
the BayStack 660 PC Card).
Select either:
• 802.1h + NTISTT
• Straight Encapsulation.
Straight encapsulation and 802.1h + NTISTT are modes of bridging
Ethernet packets wirelessly. 802.1h translation is the preferred method
among vendors, so Nortel Networks recommends using this mode.
Enabling Power Save reduces power to the BayStack PC card when
there is no network traffic. This can increase the battery life of your
laptop computer when the PC card active.
