Using the Site Survey Utility

A site survey is part of the planning process for installing a BayStack 600 Series
Wireless LAN at a site using BayStack access points. The site survey helps
determine how many access points may be needed and their optimal placement for
the best wireless connection. Before starting a site survey, do a preliminary site
evaluation and calculations.
To start the Site Survey utility:
• From the Windows taskbar, choose Start > Programs > Bay Networks >
BayStack 650 - BayStack 660 Windows utilities > Site Survey.
