Using the WEP Setup Utility

WEP is an encryption tool you can use to improve security of your wireless LAN.
WEP provides encryption between the BayStack PC card and the BayStack
Access Point. WEP employs a standard algorithm (RSA-RC4 per the IEEE 802.11
standard). The key length is 40 bits and is exportable. You can choose to:
Encrypt the authentication sequence between the wireless LAN and the
Access Points.
Encrypt the data packets exchanged between the wireless LAN and the
Access Points.
Encrypt both.
Note: Performance of the wireless LAN as measured by packet throughput
packet throughput is reduced when WEP is enabled for data packets.
