Command
Description
Auto-Roaming
Check to enable or disable auto-roaming. This feature is
Enabled
for test purposes only. Disabling auto-roaming is
temporary, since auto-roaming is enabled once you exit
the Site Survey utility.
Force Connect Forces a connection to an access point. In the site survey,
you can double-click an access point in the list to force the
laptop computer to immediately roam to that device.
Or click an access point and choose Advanced. However,
auto-roaming may cause the laptop computer to
subsequently roam to a different access point or even back
to the original device based on the current conditions as
evaluated by the laptop computer. Auto-roaming always
defaults back to what it determines is the best access
point.
