15-1. FLASH ROM VERSION UP PROCEDURE for I/F ROM using Flash
memory version up tool (VFK1304A)
<Preparation>
Connection of the flash memory version up tool
Turn off the power of the VTR and the personal computer and then connect them as shown in the following
figure. Pay attention not to confuse the connection direction (top, bottom) for the flat cable of the flash
memory version up tool (VFK1304A).

1. Prepare a personal computer (Windows95 or 98)
2. Install the version up software VFK**** into the personal computer.
